About The Position

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking a skilled and passionate Non-Invasive General Cardiologist to join our team in Carbondale, IL. This position will support J1-H1B visa. Our comprehensive range of specialties includes General and Preventative Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Nuclear/CT Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, and more. We offer a dynamic, high-volume practice with extensive experience in coronary interventions, cutting-edge research opportunities and collaboration with top institutions, including the University of Chicago. Requirements

  • Unrestricted Illinois License (prior to start)
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative and multidisciplinary team environment with strong support from specialists in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and structural heart
  • EPIC EMR system for efficient workflow
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
