About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Nocturnist to join their established program in Roseville, CA. This program involves 13 shifts per month with 12-hour Nocturnist shifts and an average admitting volume of 8-10. Robust sub-specialty support is available, and codes are run by the ICU and ER. The RRT runs are handled by the Hospitalist team. There is no ICU coverage or procedures required. Teaching opportunities are also available. Physicians generally have two weekends off each month, and there is a flexible scheduling policy.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent medical degree) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and board certification or board-eligibility in Internal Medicine (for many positions) at time of hire or Family Medicine with 2 years of direct experience
• Valid medical licensure in the State of California (or eligibility to obtain it) prior to starting
• Unrestricted DEA
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nocturnist

Responsibilities

• Work 13 shifts per month (average)

• Run RRTs (as part of the Hospitalist team)
• Participate in teaching opportunities
