Nocturnist - Physician
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This is a Nocturnist position where you will join a dedicated team of 5 Nocturnists and an established, dynamic team of Physicians and APP’s, working in a collaborative environment focusing on patient-centered care. The schedule is 7 nights on, 7 nights off. You will be responsible for admissions and/or cross coverage from 7 pm – 7 am based on the campus. The ICU is closed and staffed by Intensivist Providers 24/7. The Nocturnist team provides coverage at Methodist (349-bed), Proctor (210-bed), and Pekin (95-bed) Hospitals for admissions and cross coverage, but you will only cover one hospital each shift. This is a fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination.

Responsibilities
