Physician Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity w/ UofL Health-South Hospital
About The Position
UofL Health is hiring a Physician Nocturnist Hospitalist for South Hospital in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. This position follows a 7-on/7-off schedule, working 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., for 182 shifts. The ICU is closed, with an intensivist available in-house. The role is open to board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine physicians. U.S. permanent resident status is required; visa sponsorship is not available. UofL Health is a regional academic health system with five hospitals, four medical centers, nearly 200 physician practice locations, more than 700 providers, the Frazier Rehab Institute, and Brown Cancer Center. Its more than 12,000 team members work toward delivering patient-centered care. The position includes a $25,000 signing bonus, an annual CME allowance, retirement plans, health, dental, and vision coverage, and full undergraduate tuition at the University of Louisville for employees and dependents, as well as tuition reimbursement. The physician must maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Medical Doctorate degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Physician license for the state of Kentucky.
- ACLS/BLS certification.
- U.S. permanent resident status; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
