About The Position

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Neurologist to join its well-established, growing Neurology program. The role provides comprehensive neurological care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and is primarily outpatient, with flexible scheduling options. The physician will have access to advanced diagnostic and imaging resources, dedicated clinical support staff, experienced Neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers, and strong primary care and specialty referral relationships. This employed position offers the opportunity to build a general neurology practice while pursuing areas of clinical interest. Candidates with experience in stroke care and cerebrovascular disease management are preferred. The stated annual salary range is $290,000–$360,000.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches and migraines, epilepsy and seizure disorders, neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, memory and cognitive disorders, peripheral neuropathy, and cerebrovascular disease.
• Provide stroke follow-up care.
• Collaborate with hospital-based teams to ensure continuity of care for stroke patients.
• Participate in the evaluation, management, and secondary prevention of stroke and cerebrovascular conditions.
