About The Position
The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a Neurologist. The successful candidate will practice in Bridgeport, WV, and will be expected to provide excellent patient care while also actively teaching medical students and residents. United Hospital Center, a part of the WVU Health System, is a modern acute care facility with private inpatient rooms and a large medical staff. The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute is dedicated to advancing care for neurological and psychiatric conditions. The WVU Health System is the state's largest health system, with significant expansion in specialty care and a large network of hospitals and providers across multiple states.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical licensure.
- Completed a neurology residency program.
- Board certified/eligible in neurology.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the area of neurology.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Actively involved in teaching medical students and residents.
