About The Position

The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, and Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, seek a Memory Specialist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of memory disorders/cognitive neurology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The WVU RNI Memory Health Clinic is the only multi-disciplinary specialty clinic in the state of West Virginia that offers comprehensive, individualized diagnosis and treatment for dementia, while providing support for caregivers. The integrative Clinic brings together a team of neurologists, geriatricians, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and nurse practitioners to offer multidisciplinary care and emotional and resource support. The RNI team is pioneering innovative clinical trials and research through the use of Focused Ultrasound (FUS), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Virtual Reality (VR), and wearable technologies to better treat Alzheimer's and memory disorders. The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) is a comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care, education, and research institute providing neurological and mental healthcare through more than 300,000 visits annually. The 300+ physicians and scientists of the RNI improve lives by pioneering advances in neuroscience, brain health, and therapeutics.
