About The Position
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a supplemental board-eligible/board-certified Neurohospitalist to join a vibrant, growing team in Auburn, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity combining private practice with the energy of academic medicine, providing a blend of clinical autonomy and academic engagement. The position involves staffing inpatient general neurology consult or stroke consult services, providing acute neurological care in the ED, inpatient wards, and acute rehabilitation. There is a separate neurocritical care service that sees neuro consults in the ICU. Additionally, participation in a once-a-month discharge clinic is expected, which can be subspecialty focused. The role benefits from advanced practice technology like EPIC and promotes a positive work-life balance in Northern California.
Requirements
- Board certified/Board eligible neurologist
- Comfort in managing acute strokes
Responsibilities
