Physician - Neurocritical Care
About The Position
ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is currently seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician to join our practice at ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, OH. This role involves a 7 on 7 off schedule, rotating days and nights, with 100% inpatient focus. The Neurology team is comprised of 25 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers. Neurological conditions treated range from common to complex and rare. Our general and subspecialty-trained neurologists and neurosurgeons collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive the necessary care. The organization's commitment to technology, specialized care, education, and research facilitates advanced treatment for patients, families, and communities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Ohio.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurocritical Care Fellowship.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Provide neurocritical care to patients.
- Participate in a 7 on 7 off schedule, rotating days and nights.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Engage in ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
