About The Position

The Physician Network Liaison is responsible for building positive relationships between physician practices and our medical team. The Liaison will develop and market ideas to continually engage physicians and peak their awareness of the services provided by our medical practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; however, relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Previous experience in Sales preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical field preferred (Optometry/Ophthalmology given precedence).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, proactive, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong rapport with physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Ability to handle situations with confidence tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Professional integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare administration and personnel, and communities in the target market.
  • Evaluate market data, competitive information, and financial data to determine effective marketing and public relations strategies to accomplish business goals.
  • Provide doctor and staff education (Attend and assist with continuing education seminars, Mini fellowships, Lunch and Learns).
  • Maintain co-managing physician database (Contact Information / Mailing Lists, Touch history, Co-management standing orders).
  • Provide reporting and analysis on co-managed patients.
  • Monitor trends for process improvement and effectively manage customer relationship through proactive communication with physicians.
  • Maintain compliance and adherence to Stark, CMS, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain inventory on educational materials in stock and communicate needs to suppliers in a timely fashion. Regularly verify quantity, correctness, and condition of educational supplies in company practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
