About The Position

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join their patient-centered team in Boise, ID. This role involves supporting NICUs across four St. Luke's locations, including St. Luke's Children's Hospital (Level IV NICU), St. Luke's Magic Valley (Level III NICU), and St. Luke's Meridian and Nampa (Level II NICU). The program is a longstanding Vermont Oxford Network (VON) member with a strong focus on data-driven quality improvement and evidence-based care. There are also opportunities for teaching and mentoring through the Pediatric Residency Program. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • BC/BE in Neonatology
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Idaho
  • Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA, the State of Idaho, and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
  • Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of 12 board-certified Neonatologists and 25 APPs to support NICUs across four St. Luke’s locations.
  • Provide care within an employed practice covering four NICUs across southwestern and central Idaho.
  • Participate in a Level IV NICU at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital (largest NICU in Idaho), a Level III NICU at St. Luke’s Magic Valley, and Level II NICUs at St. Luke’s Meridian and Nampa.
  • Engage in data-driven quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide evidence-based care.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring opportunities through the Pediatric Residency Program.
