About The Position

The Department of Neonatology at Stamford Hospital is seeking an additional per diem neonatologist to join the team, as needed by the department. The department has two (2) full-time, three (3) part-time, and two (2) per diem neonatologists. The per-diem shifts offered are 12-hour or 24-hour in-house, and at present we need coverage approximately 1 to 2 times per month. Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Valid medical license in the state of Connecticut.
• Ability to work per diem shifts, including 12-hour or 24-hour in-house coverage.
• Availability to cover approximately 1 to 2 shifts per month.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a Level III NICU.
• Familiarity with shift differentials for evening and night shifts.
• Experience with weekend shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatology services as needed for per diem shifts.
• Work 12-hour or 24-hour in-house shifts.
• Cover approximately 1 to 2 shifts per month.
