About The Position

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a dedicated Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist to join our growing academic faculty within the Department of Radiology. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice comprehensive MSK imaging in a high-volume, tertiary care setting while contributing to education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration at a nationally recognized academic medical center.

Requirements

• MD or DO (or equivalent)
• ABR board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of a 12-month Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri

Responsibilities

• Practice comprehensive MSK imaging in a high-volume, tertiary care setting.
• Contribute to education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Join a collegial team of subspecialty-trained radiologists.
• Participate in subspecialty-specific weekend call.
• Engage in close, collaborative relationships with referring services supported by frequent multidisciplinary conferences.
• Be an imaging partner for the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, KC Current, and KU Jayhawks athletics, and imaging consultant for FIFA World Cup 26 Kansas City.
• Be involved in resident and fellow education.
• Pursue research or advance clinical programs.
• Perform a wide range of image-guided procedures supporting rheumatology, sports medicine, internal medicine, and orthopedic surgery, using a balanced mix of ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided techniques.
