About The Position

The practice is located at Imperial Valley Healthcare District in Brawley, California, a 107-bed facility with a 26-bed Emergency Department that sees an annual volume of 48,000 patients with a 9% admit rate. Physicians often commute from the coastal San Diego Region. Block scheduling and on-campus housing are available. This is a rural medicine opportunity with a diverse patient mix.
Requirements
- Must be a 3rd year of a 3-year program or a 4th year of a 4-year program to be eligible.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine care to patients.
- Work in a 26-bed Emergency Department with an annual volume of 48,000.
- Collaborate with a team of clinicians in a rural medicine setting.
