Physician Moonlighter - Correctional Health
About The Position
Vituity is seeking Correctional Health Physicians for opportunities in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians who are equitable owners. The practice includes the Hi-Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, and the San Bernardino County Detention Facility in Rancho Cucamonga. The facility hours are M-F 8am-5pm, with on-site Dialysis Sweep and Suicide Watch. Patient mix ranges from 18 months to 101 years old. X-ray services are available seven days a week, and there is a separate mental health facility.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine physicians.
- DEA Licensure required.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
- CCHP-P Certified preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a correctional health setting.
- Work within a multi-site system including detention centers.
- Offer on-site Dialysis Sweep and Suicide Watch.
- Provide X-ray services seven days a week.
- Collaborate with a separate mental health facility.
