About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join their growing practice in Smyrna, GA. This physician will practice primarily at their Cooper Lake office, with surgical cases performed at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center and Wellstar Vinings Health Park. The practice currently includes one other MIGS physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), offering a collaborative environment with the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues. This is a full-time opportunity focused on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with a balanced schedule including dedicated clinic and surgical days. At least two days per week will be dedicated to surgery. The physician will have access to the Da Vinci 5 robot (DV5) and the opportunity to provide both surgical consultation and ongoing gynecologic care within a collaborative practice environment.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) or have comparable advanced minimally invasive surgical experience
Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
Committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

Practice primarily at the Cooper Lake office.
