About The Position

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a part-time Physician/Medical Director in Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania. The physician is primarily responsible for assessing patients, creating treatment plans, and adjusting medications. The role works with the Executive Director, Director of Nursing, and Clinical Director to ensure patients receive quality care across the organization’s network. The position supports addiction treatment and recovery services.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Addiction Medicine.
• Licensed in Pennsylvania or able to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
• MD and DO applicants are welcome.
• Must have a Medicaid number or be Medicaid eligible.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive medical assessment.
• Aid in training nursing staff.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and annually reviewing written medical procedures.
• Assist with planning medical services across assigned locations.
• Ensure medical staffing patterns are adequate and coordinate care with other patient care providers so patients receive the full continuum of care.
