About The Position

Concentra On-Site Primary Care / Occupational Medicine Physician Medical Director - PART TIME. This on-site clinic-based position provides direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience. It provides leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure. The role manages clinicians, support staff, and complies with APC supervisory requirements. It creates a professional and collaborative working environment and works with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement. The position maintains relationships with center clients and payers and works with the medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels. It promotes, cultivates, and exemplifies Concentra values for all clinic colleagues and fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognition. The role possesses financial awareness and provides input to clinic budget and key business metrics. Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction
  • Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date)
  • Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
  • FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • NRCME/DOT certification
  • MetraComp + NY WC Board authorization as required

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
