The Department of Anesthesiology at the Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is seeking a board eligible/board certified anesthesiologist to join the Division of Abdominal Transplant Anesthesia. Ochsner is a high-volume program among U.S. medical centers focused on achieving excellent clinical outcomes. We routinely perform liver transplants including liver-kidney, pediatric, split liver, and living donor, as well as kidney and kidney-pancreas transplants. The Department of Anesthesiology includes 80 anesthesiologists, 120 CRNAs, and over 45 house staff, with an annual case volume of more than 52,000. All faculty actively participate in teaching and clinical care; many take advantage of opportunities in clinical investigation and professional service.
