About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, Fellowship-Trained Laryngologist to join our expanding Otolaryngology service line at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center in Austell, Georgia. This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead a comprehensive laryngology and voice program within one of Georgia's largest integrated healthcare systems. The incoming physician will benefit from a strong referral base, significant institutional support, and the ability to build a multidisciplinary center focused on voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. Wellstar's Otolaryngology service line is experiencing significant growth throughout the Atlanta metropolitan region with continued investment in dedicated subspecialty programs, comprehensive audiology services, advanced imaging capabilities, population health initiatives, AI-enabled clinical workflows, research and quality improvement programs, and physician leadership and mentorship opportunities. Physicians enjoy close collaboration with hospital and system leadership and play an active role in advancing strategic initiatives that improve access, quality, and patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained in Laryngology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery
  • Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
  • Passionate about multidisciplinary patient care
  • Interested in program development and clinical innovation
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills
  • Committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable performing or interested in developing expertise in awake laser procedures, office-based laryngeal injections, injection laryngoplasty, vocal fold augmentation, Botulinum toxin injections, transnasal esophagoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy with videostroboscopy, microlaryngoscopy, airway reconstruction procedures, endoscopic management of subglottic and tracheal stenosis, laser surgery of the larynx, and dysphagia evaluation and management.
