About The Position
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are seeking Interventional Cardiologists for the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The successful candidate will practice in Princeton, WV, with potential assignments to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, which may involve travel. The role involves practicing general and interventional cardiology, providing excellent patient care, and actively teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Completed an interventional cardiology fellowship program.
- Board certified / eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of general and interventional cardiology.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
