About The Position

This organization is a physician-led, patient-centric healthcare network with several divisions to ensure they are able to meet a full spectrum of patient needs, including primary care, specialty services, urgent care, and more. They serve millions of patients across the country every year, improving health outcomes while achieving exemplary satisfaction. The physician provides a full scope of primary care services to patients. This includes, but is not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance. Providers see a variable number of patients per day, based upon patient needs and types of appointments scheduled. Physicians are supported by fully-trained clinical assistants, including scribes and staff to perform administrative tasks, ensuring the primary focus is always on patient care. The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.

Requirements

• New Jersey medical license
• DEA
• Board Certified / Eligible, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Responsibilities

• review patient histories
• perform physical examinations
• evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatments
• refer patients to specialists as needed
• review test results and recommend management
• prescribe medications
• formulate disease management plans
• communicate with clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care
