Primary Care Physician - Outpatient
About The Position
An established community-based healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a full-time outpatient opportunity in Lake Isabella, California. The position offers an attractive schedule, competitive compensation, clinical support, and the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a welcoming community. New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply. The role is 100% outpatient primary care, with approximately 20–25 patients per day and a schedule of three 12-hour clinical shifts plus four administrative hours per week. The physician will practice Family Medicine, including minor office procedures, using CGM electronic medical records. Clinical support is approximately 1.5–2 support staff per provider. This is a permanent opportunity, and candidates must be willing to relocate to the area. Compensation is $260,000–$300,000 for new graduates and $300,000–$320,000+ for experienced physicians. The package includes a $25,000+ sign-on and retention bonus with a one-year commitment, relocation assistance of up to $10,000 in eligible reimbursed expenses, approximately 240 hours of PTO annually, an annual professional development allowance, medical, dental, and vision benefits, malpractice coverage, and employer retirement contributions. The interview process includes a virtual interview with the recruitment team and Medical Director, followed by an on-site visit to tour the clinic, meet leadership, shadow, and review the EMR.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Appropriate California medical licensure.
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Comfort providing outpatient primary care and minor procedures.
- Willingness to relocate to the community.
