About The Position
Sutter Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join its growing practice serving the Amador County community in Jackson, California. The role offers flexibility to choose outpatient-only work or include hospital work, perform procedures, or focus solely on clinic-based care according to individual interests and lifestyle preferences. The position combines a close-knit rural practice with access to specialists and tertiary resources. Optional teaching opportunities with residents are available for physicians interested in education. The role offers a flexible schedule of 18 to 36 patient-contact hours per week with full benefits. Compensation includes a two-year guarantee of $314,000, with a productivity bonus of up to 20%.

- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide Internal Medicine care to the Amador County community.
- Choose among outpatient-only practice, hospital work, procedures, or clinic-based care, based on individual interests and preferences.
- Optionally participate in teaching residents.
