About The Position

Fairview is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinics – Oxboro located in Bloomington, Minnesota. Join our thriving multi-specialty practice which has been in the community for over 30 years. The practice includes 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers. Patient encounters average approximately 15-18 patients per day. This is a 1.0 FTE position with 34 patient contact hours per week for full time, offering a flexible schedule. Call frequency is 3 weeks per year. A fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) is utilized.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency training program.
• Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services as an Internal Medicine physician.
• Manage patient encounters, averaging approximately 15-18 patients per day.
• Participate in call rotation, approximately 3 weeks per year.
• Utilize the fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
