Requirements
- Graduate of an approved training program in the United States.
- Licensed in the State of Texas.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.
Responsibilities
- Examine adult patients 18 years and older to ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of various medical conditions.
- Order medically necessary tests.
- Perform follow-up visits.
- Place referrals to specialists when needed.
- Interpret basic medical tests and imaging in planning care for our patients.
- Take periodic hospital call admitting only Kelsey-Seybold patients, depending on assigned call group.
- Use EPIC electronic health record for patient care and collaboration.
