About The Position

DrHouse is seeking board-certified physicians to join its telemedicine team and provide patient-centered virtual care to patients throughout West Virginia. Physicians may reside anywhere in the state, including metropolitan, rural, and underserved areas. The role offers a flexible schedule and involves treating a broad range of non-emergency clinical needs through secure virtual consultations, including primary care, urgent care, men’s and women’s health, and chronic conditions.

Physicians conduct video appointments, develop personalized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines, document encounters using the company’s EHR tools, and coordinate remotely with other clinicians. The role also requires keeping current with telehealth standards and best practices. DrHouse offers an annual salary starting at $210,000, potential performance bonuses, a fully remote schedule, support for state licensing through the IMLC Compact, 25 days of PTO, and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN.
• Licensed to practice in West Virginia.
• Comfort using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with patients virtually.

Nice To Haves

• ABOM certification.
• Licensure in multiple U.S. states, ideally including California, Texas, or Illinois.
• Telemedicine experience or a strong interest in virtual care.
• Passion for obesity and chronic disease management.
• Comfort providing preventive and lifestyle guidance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues.
• Treat patients in internal medicine and related areas, including urgent care, gynecology, and obesity care.
• Design personalized treatment plans supported by current clinical guidelines.
• Record encounters using EHR tools to support accurate follow-up and prescriptions.
• Collaborate remotely with other clinicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
• Stay updated on telehealth standards and evolving best practices.
