About The Position

DrHouse is seeking board-certified physicians to join its telemedicine team and provide patient-centered virtual care to patients across New York. Physicians may reside anywhere in the state. The role offers a flexible schedule and involves treating a broad range of non-emergency concerns, including primary care, urgent care, men’s and women’s health, and chronic conditions through secure virtual consultations. Physicians conduct video appointments, create personalized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines, document encounters using EHR tools, and coordinate remotely with other clinicians. They are expected to stay current with telehealth standards and best practices. The position is fully remote and supports care delivery across metropolitan, rural, and underserved communities.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN.
Licensed to practice in New York.
Comfort using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with patients virtually.

Nice To Haves

ABOM certification.
Licensure in multiple U.S. states, ideally including California, Texas, or Illinois.
Telemedicine experience or a strong interest in virtual care.
Interest in obesity and chronic disease management.
Comfort providing preventive and lifestyle guidance.

Responsibilities

Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues.
Treat patients in internal medicine and related areas, including urgent care, gynecology, and obesity care.
Design personalized treatment plans supported by current clinical guidelines.
Record encounters using EHR tools to support accurate follow-up and prescriptions.
Collaborate remotely with other clinicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
Stay updated on telehealth standards and evolving best practices.
