About The Position

Vituity is seeking an ABPN-eligible or ABPN-certified Inpatient Psychiatry physician to work at UCSF Health St. Mary's Hospital and UCSF Health Hyde Hospital in San Francisco, California. The sites have a 19-bed behavioral health unit with an annual volume of 1,000 and daily volume of 55–80, with an admit rate below 10%. The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off. There are three physician shifts per day, with eight-hour APP coverage from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vituity-staffed Emergency Department and Hospitalist teams provide integrated care at the site. Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians. Clinicians are supported by a corporate healthcare team and a network of 9,000 Vituity clinicians. Estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Total compensation, including partnership income, varies by site and may significantly exceed the stated range. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked.
