About The Position

WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Infectious Disease Physician to practice in South Charleston, WV. The West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. It also includes five institutes and provides management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVU Medicine is West Virginia's largest health system and the state's largest employer, with more than 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees. It serves a multi-state region including West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for state medical license.
• Completed Infectious Disease residency program.
• Fellowship trained in Infectious Disease.
• Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities
