About The Position

Gould Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hospitalist physician to join their team in Modesto, CA. This position is based at Memorial Medical Center, a 423-bed Level 2 trauma hospital. The role involves a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, working 182 shifts per year. While no procedures are required, the physician will be part of a robust back-up system for emergencies, including a dedicated non-hospitalist response team for code blue and full intensivist back-up. The hospitalist group is large, with over 45 physicians, and the role requires GME activity, including didactic and supervisory tasks. The group is described as stable and growing, utilizing Epic for their EHR system.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC)
• Board certification required after two years of being an attending physician (for new graduates)
• Ability to perform GME activity (didactic and supervisory tasks)
