Physician - Hospitalist - Hoke
About The Position
FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Hospitalist to practice at their campus in Raeford, NC. This opportunity is located at an 8-bed hospital just 15 minutes outside of Fayetteville, NC. The position offers a desirable block schedule of 7 on/7 off, with approximately 180 shifts per year. The hospitalist program has been in place for over 20 years and is supported by dedicated nocturnists via telemedicine, as well as access to Intensivists, Neuro, Peds, and Geriatrics at their flagship hospital in Pinehurst, NC. The role involves practicing autonomously with supportive administration and collegial relationships with other providers and specialists.
Requirements
- Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility required.
- Clean background.
- NC licensure.
- NC DEA certification.
- AHA ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of Hospitalist experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Practice autonomously at an 8-bed hospital.
- Manage patient care within the hospitalist service.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists.
- Utilize efficient patient transfer processes within the system.
