PHYSICIAN - Hospitalist (Daytime Admitter) - Fargo, ND
About The Position
This position is for a Hospitalist (Admitting Service) in Fargo, ND. The practice is seeking an adaptable, collaborative, team-player, looking to spend time with patients and provide top quality care. The team consists of 20 full-time hospitalists and NP support. The hospital has 140 beds, a closed ICU, and 2 admitting services scheduled per day, 7 days per week. Responsibilities include Emergency Department admissions, consults, and direct admissions, as well as working with the One Call/Hospital Supervisor team taking transfers from outlying facilities. No procedures are required. The work schedule involves 12-hour shifts for 24 weeks per year with flexible scheduling. Specialty and 24/7 intensivist support are available.
Requirements
- BC/BE Internal Medicine
- BC/BE Family Medicine with a minimum of 1 year Hospitalist experience or completion of a Hospitalist fellowship.
