About The Position

Ochsner Health in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi is seeking a Physician to join our hospitalist team. This position would be for full-time day shift. The Mississippi Gulf Coast offers beautiful southern communities known for its diverse attractions including art, seafood, fishing, beaches and festivals. It is located between the world-renowned attractions of Louisiana and the Alabama Coast.

Requirements

• BC/BE Internal Medicine.
• Full-time day shift availability.
• Ability to work a 7 on 7 off block schedule with flexibility.
• Ability to manage an average census of 12-14 patients.
• Willingness to perform ICU rounding.
• Proficiency with EPIC medical record system.
• Must be able to work independently as the solo MD on shift with 1 APP.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Hospital Medicine.
• Experience with E-ICU intensivist support.
• Experience with remote access capabilities for medical records.

Responsibilities

• Serve, heal, lead, educate, and innovate.
• Work with patients and support those who do.
• Provide hospitalist care in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
• Perform ICU rounding.
• Provide clinical training to third and fourth year medical students.
