About The Position

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Hematology Oncology Physician to join its Cancer Centers in Hinsdale and Bolingbrook. The role is based at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Centers, described as Leapfrog A/CMS 4-star facilities. The organization is affiliated with UChicago Medicine and AdventHealth, a nonprofit, faith-based healthcare system committed to whole-person care and serving its communities.

The position includes a weekday call rotation and weekend call coverage on a 1:6–8 rotation, with weekend rounding at hospitals in Bolingbrook, Hinsdale, and La Grange. New fellowship graduates are welcome. The annual compensation range is $300,000–$475,000. The position offers benefits, CME, paid time off, retirement plans, and occurrence-based malpractice insurance that includes tail coverage.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and U.S. residency program.
• Current Illinois physician medical license in good standing.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a weekday call rotation.
• Provide weekend call coverage on a 1:6–8 rotation.
• Round on weekends at hospitals in Bolingbrook, Hinsdale, and La Grange.
• Provide hematology and oncology care at the Cancer Centers in Hinsdale and Bolingbrook.
