About The Position

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for practice in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This position offers an opportunity to practice in hematology/oncology, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to program growth and development. The role is based at Camden Clark Medical Center and supported by WVU Medical Center. The West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and private employer, with a significant expansion in specialty care. WVU Medicine is a national leader in patient safety and quality, comprising a network of 25 hospitals.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for state medical license.
  • Completed an accredited internal medicine residency.
  • Completed a hematology/oncology fellowship program.
  • Board certified/eligible in hematology/oncology.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
