About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join the M Health Fairview Cancer Care Center Edina. This position is located in the Fairview Southdale Physicians Building. Providers work collaboratively to develop personalized treatment plans. The role involves joining a group of physicians dedicated to staying at the forefront of their field and participating in quality improvement committees. The clinic is affiliated with the University of Minnesota and provides patient-centered care, with opportunities for patients to enroll in clinical trials and participate in tumor boards. The Cancer Care Center - Edina brings the value and innovation of academic medicine to the community.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Hematology/Oncology fellowship-training program.
• Board eligible/certified in Hematology and Oncology with the America Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalized treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement committees.
• Provide patient-centered care.
• Enroll patients in leading-edge clinical trials.

• Shared inpatient rounding responsibilities.
