About The Position

Ochsner Health – Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Institute is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastrointestinal Medical Oncologist Physician. This is a subspecialized practice focusing on cancers of the GI tract including gastro-esophageal, pancreatic, hepatobiliary, neuroendocrine, anal and colorectal malignancies. Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastrointestinal Medical Oncologist Physician.
  • Board certified or board eligible in hematology and oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Subspecialized practice focusing on cancers of the GI tract including gastro-esophageal, pancreatic, hepatobiliary, neuroendocrine, anal and colorectal malignancies.
  • Involved in the education and training of hematology/oncology fellows at Ochsner (four per year).
  • Participate in or develop clinical research studies.
  • Teach fellows and residents.
  • Contribute to the development of the program.
