Physician - General Surgery
About The Position
Ochsner Health is actively recruiting a BC/BE General Surgeon to join their group at the West Bank campus. This is a clinic-based position with dedicated surgery days. The role involves utilizing da Vinci Xi robots and working with ancillary services. The physician will be part of a collegial, multidisciplinary team of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Dieticians, Medical and Radiation Oncologists, and nurse navigators who collaborate on customized patient care plans. The position benefits from an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network and support from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System. The EPIC medical record platform is utilized throughout the system.
Requirements
- BC/BE General Surgeon
- Proficiency with da Vinci Xi robots
- Familiarity with EPIC medical record platform
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in an integrated practice model
