About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 6 physicians and 18 APPs. Practice setting: Inpatient general surgery. Access to advanced surgical technology (robotics experience preferred) and robust system resources. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Deliver comprehensive patient care by conducting thorough assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, and managing treatment plans under physician supervision to drive optimal health outcomes. Empower patients and families by providing high-touch education on treatment options, preventative health, and community resources to support long-term wellness. Maintain precise health records through meticulous documentation of care journeys to protect patient safety and maintain seamless care continuity.

Requirements

• Board Certification required
• Eligible for Maryland state medical licensure and DEA registration required
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.

Nice To Haves

• Robotics experience preferred
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Urology experience is a bonus!
