About The Position

Supported by health system growth, the Department of Gastroenterology at Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans Region is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGIST to join its practice at our Kenner and St. Charles Parish Campuses. This role focuses on general gastroenterology and offers the opportunity to join a highly collegial, 24-physician group. The team includes general gastroenterologists, hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists. Advanced Practice Professionals assist with consults, outpatient clinics, and patient overflow. The practice operates within an integrated model with a strong internal referral network and benefits from 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite. The call schedule is excellent and shared among the large GI group, with strong support from collaborative specialties like surgery, oncology, radiology, and GI pathology. There is an opportunity to teach if interested. J1 visa candidates may be considered at our St. Charles Parish Campus.
