About The Position

Geisinger, a nationally recognized leader in innovation and quality care, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Lewistown/State College PA. The regions premiere Gastroenterology Group located in State College and Lewistown (Western Region) is seeking either a general or advanced Gastroenterologist to join our stable team of 8 physicians and 5 APPs. Position is due to growth and demand. This dedicated high level and high-volume practice including interventional endoscopy and hepatology are integrated with the larger health system to alleviate frustrations. At Geisinger, our Gastroenterologists: Provide care for patients across a fully integrated health system with a robust electronic health record (EPIC). Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including embedded pharmacists, who assist in management of Hepatitis C and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
