St. Luke’s is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join a busy, patient-focused multidisciplinary team at Blue Lakes Gastroenterology in Twin Falls, ID. The practice includes 4 physicians, 5 advanced practitioners, and support staff, with a 1:4 call schedule and a one-year partnership track. The facility features a state-of-the-art hospital built in 2011, housing clinic, GI endoscopy unit, and inpatient facilities in one location. Services offered include a wide range of endoscopic procedures, treatment of liver diseases, post-liver transplant management, and liver biopsies. Requirements

MD/DO from accredited medical school
BC/BE in gastroenterology
Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System, Eligibility to obtain

Responsibilities

Screening, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies
Diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
Push enteroscopy
Small bowel capsule endoscopy
Esophageal impedance testing and manometry
Feeding tube placement and management
Diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of liver disease, including cirrhosis, hepatitis, and liver cancer
Post-liver transplant management
Ultrasound guided liver biopsy
