About The Position

We are seeking a board certified/eligible Gastroenterology/Transplant Hepatology candidate passionate about exceptional clinical care, team collaboration, and building our liver disease and pre transplantation program. While clinical care is paramount, we encourage research, quality improvement, and patient advocacy. This is an opportunity to grow and build a hepatology and transplant hepatology practice. The role involves contributing to the education of medical students and internal medicine residents. It includes full endoscopy support with a separate inpatient GI consultative service, an inpatient hepatology consultation service with GI hospital-based APP support, and a robust IR service line with capacity for ablation, TACE, Y-90, and histotripsy. Institutional support for clinical research is also provided.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology/Transplant Hepatology.
  • Passionate about exceptional clinical care, team collaboration, and building a liver disease and pre-transplantation program.
  • Ability to perform advanced procedures (ERCP/EUS trained).

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional clinical care in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology.
  • Build and grow the liver disease and pre-transplantation program.
  • Engage in research, quality improvement, and patient advocacy.
  • Educate medical students and internal medicine residents.
  • Perform advanced procedures (ERCP/EUS trained).
  • Participate in a manageable 1:7 weekend call rotation with 2-3 weekday calls per month.
