About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join the primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinics – Elk River in Elk River, Minnesota. The clinic is a community clinic in downtown Elk River offering comprehensive care for patients throughout all stages of life. The 15-provider practice includes 10 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers, with an average of 15–18 patient encounters per day. The opening is for 1.0 FTE, with 34 patient-contact hours per week for full-time work and a flexible schedule. Call frequency is three weeks per year. As part of Fairview’s Accountable Care Organization, providers work in a collaborative, team-based model focused on quality outcomes, care coordination, and population health management. The practice offers employer-paid Nabla AI clinical documentation support and a fully integrated EPIC electronic medical record. Elk River is described as a welcoming community with a scenic river setting, small-town charm, a strong sense of community, and convenient access to the Twin Cities.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited ACGME- or AOA-accredited Family Medicine residency program.
Board certified or board eligible through ABMS or AOA.
Licensed or able to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Able to obtain and maintain DEA certification.
Meet credentialing and privileging requirements.

Provide family medicine care to patients across all stages of life.
Participate in a collaborative, team-based care model focused on quality outcomes, care coordination, and population health management.
Provide call coverage three weeks per year.
