About The Position

Deaconess Illinois Clinic is offering a competitive 18-month guaranteed salary of $325,000 for a full-time Family Medicine Physician, along with a $50,000 sign-on bonus tied to a 5-year contract. Additional Medical Director compensation up to $15,600 is also available. Must hold or obtain Illinois medical licensure

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive services, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Perform routine physical exams, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care services.
Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
Perform minor in-office procedures and assist with more complex procedures as needed.
Ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits and coordination with specialists.
Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and wellness strategies.
Respond to urgent care needs and manage emergency situations when necessary.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols.
Provide clinical supervision, oversight, and support for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).
Ensure advanced practice providers deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Mentor and collaborate with clinical staff to uphold strong standards of care and regulatory compliance.
Foster a positive, team-focused environment that supports continuous professional development.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluations of clinical staff.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing patient care process enhancements.
