About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. The West Virginia University School of Medicine – Eastern Division Department of Family Medicine seeks a Family Medicine Physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Winchester, VA. The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Family Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Completed Family Medicine residency program.
- Board certified / eligible in Family Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
