About The Position
Sauk Prairie Healthcare is a 36-bed, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) acute care hospital and two surgical specialty practices as well as four primary care clinics in Mazomanie, Plain, Spring Green and Lodi. Our Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center with 10 bays. We provide care for more than 40,000 people in our service area.
Requirements
- MD
- Experience working in an Emergency Department/Urgent Care setting.
- State of Wisconsin license as a Physician and Drug Enrollment Agency (DEA) Registration.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Emergency Medicine trained.
Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, treat and, when appropriate, refer to other qualified physicians, patients presenting to emergency department.
- Assist medical staff with calls involving life threatening emergency situations occurring on site.
- Supervise/collaborate with advanced practice clinicians.
