About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. VUHS Medical Group seeks an Otolaryngologist. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Wheeling, WV. The WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) formed in 2021 and has since grown to 900 physicians and advanced practice providers. Caregivers affiliated with the group practice in all 25 WVU Medicine hospitals and clinics. The group’s physicians serve in a variety of specialties and subspecialties – from primary care to advanced specialty care – and work in tandem with the WVU faculty practice plan. Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for state medical license
- Completed an Otolaryngology residency program
- Board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
