Physician - Endocrinology
About The Position
Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is hiring a full-time endocrinologist for a busy outpatient general endocrinology practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, primarily at The Grove. The practice typically sees 16–20 patients per day on a Monday–Friday schedule, with no call or weekend hours. Lab and imaging services are available, and there may be an opportunity to perform thyroid biopsies in the clinic. The role is supported by an integrated practice model, internal referral network, clinic support staff, complementary services at Ochsner Cancer Center – Baton Rouge, and specialists and subspecialists throughout Ochsner Health System. Ochsner offers a physician-led, integrated healthcare environment with multispecialty collaboration and an EPIC medical record platform. Professional development opportunities include teaching, research, physician leadership, and community service. Compensation is commensurate with experience and training. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care to patients with general endocrinology needs.
